We have worked with a number of projects:
Energy Transition Sector Development Program
GMC team provided supports to PwC India team to conduct feasibility study for ADB Energy Transition Sector Development Program in Cambodia. As deputy team leader, GMC has provided technical inputs, data collection, due diligence assessment of selected projects. GMC also provide ground coordination with all interested parties for this feasibility and provide local support i.e. public consultation.
Building Energy Audits
GMC is tasked to conduct 10 government energy audits to understand energy consumption, significant energy users, and to propose energy efficiency measures under Piloting Energy Efficiency and Solar Micro Grids for Cambodia's Clean Energy Future Project implementation. The project is an initiatives of Cambodia Climate Change Alliance Programme III funded by UNDP, the European Union and the Swedish Government.
Training on Climate Action
After completing the training of trainers, Green Move Consulting has been engaged by the project to provide training in the Khmer language for four factories with a total of 11 participants. The training was conducted from September 17 to November 30, 2021, by a team from Green Move Consulting with support from GIZ and South Pole. This CAT will be placed as an additional service onto GMC’s training services and will be offered to our clients per their needs. Since GMC has already been providing training on energy efficiency, energy management systems, and environmental management systems to our existing clients, this CAT can also be integrated into these systems by proposing complementary energy efficiency and environmental management measures derived from this CAT content especially concerning the target setting. Another potential area to reach this CAT on a broader scale is cooperation with other capacity-building and educational institutions. GMC is open to future CAT delivery projects with local universities.
National Energy Efficiency Policy 2022-2030
GMC supports the Royal Government of Cambodia in updating and finalizing the National Energy Efficiency Policy 2022-2030.
